“I guess there's nothing wrong with going out with a bang.
Even with the crazy dice, though, I don't really feel that I deserved the draw. I overcomplicated two blitzes by using skinks instead of simply using my break tackle saurus (the one that I goofed up at the end of the second half really was because I thought the saurus was prone; I have no idea WHY I THOUGHT that, but oh well). I also ate a lightning bolt by foolishly rushing forward and placing Allegro Cantabile Sound far too close to the sidelines; although I guess you could argue that I was down way too many men at that point and that I had to take some sort of risk.
Blarrgh!!!
I guess it was a miracle that I even made it this far (I have way too many lapses in concentration to ever truly be a good BB player), and my match against PeteW was really fun.
He better win the entire tournament! ”

First half was all orcs. Taking 9 lizards off the pitch, 5 permanently made things kind of easy, but some stupid messing around led to 0-0 at the half.
Second half the lizzies had 7 on the pitch and it looked easy as the orcs still had a wizzie. However, the skinks refused to die, and the orcs couldn;t even break armour with MB or DP. Some lovely lizard dice should have made it 1-0 on 2 occasions, but even luckier orc dice saved it for OT.
3 lizzie KOs came back and they received, but a suicidal dash led to an orc retrival. Another sending off on a six and the death of Naama (apo fail) out the orcs in trouble and again, the lizzies almost scored.
Went to the coin and luck had it for the orcs.
Odd game, and PeteW must learn to tell relatives to go away if he is to win games!!!
