“With only eight players fit to play and an 87 TS Munchester needed a recovery match. Krondor's, coached by Roscou, were the only team out there. A lot stronger but happy to cruise through a recovery game.
We held him to 1-0 in the first half, trying to give the visiting team a good game of it, but it became apparent he wasn't interested in scoring.
The Wood Elves' approach to the 'recovery' match was to gain SPP by inflicting casualties on the already under-strength Munchester.
The apothecary, good fortune on the injury rolls, and inherent pansy-ness of the Wood Elves meant no injuries were picked up, but it was a close thing.
Roscou wouldn't change his game, so Munchester just kept the hell out of the way in the second half. Four tries rolled in and it was boring as hell, but hey - they had fewer chances to cripple my team.
To be fair to coach Roscou he's new at this and did apologise at the end of the match.
No hard feelings mate. If your Elves ever need a recovery game, I've got some Orcs that'll help out ;-)
EDIT: Dude, you agreed to a recovery match, then spent the entire match trying to kill and maim. This is fine -great- in a normal game, but you agreed to a recovery match against a team that could only field 8 players, had a TS of 87 and then acted like a tool with your 12-man TS 142 team. You can whine that you didn't manage kill anyone that's just down to blind luck coupled with your own incompetence.”
