Having basically turned over the initial offensive play, all I had to do was run my promising FA beastman over to the ball to consolidate the position and hopefully pick it up. What can I say, my laptop keyboard is easy to miss keys on - I press left when I meant down-left, he's in a tackle zone, dodge out, fail, reroll, fail, KILLED.

Before that I had rerolled a pushback block on the minotaur - done out of mild annoyance instead of for any tactical reason. Later in the first half the I would scoop up the ball and throw it to a chaos warrior who would have been able to get away from anybody capable of catching him. Catch dropped, last reroll used the previous turn, the end result, ball dropped and (if I remember correctly - this bit may be wrong) the ball is recovered for the first touchdown.

Second half starts. I go to set up a block and mess it up and press right one time to many and my series of 2D blocks becomes a series of 1D blocks. Already disillusioned with the team and the game, I go for the dodge out to position correctly, failed, and so the start of the second half is essentially a blitz. He scores his second, I play sloppily and fail to do anything noteworthy in response.

More passion and enthusiasm from me and no stupid JavaBB "feature" mistakes (things that would not happen in a table top game where you can't mishit keys) and I'd like to think this would have been a victory rather than a loss.

SillySod was a pleasant opponent. I hope I didn't come across badly in game (I don't remember saying anything untoward) but, as I say, I never really fully got into this side who suffered injury after death after injury ever since their inception - this game was no different.
