“Fun game! Coach Kondor's prayer to nuffle for luck at the start of the game paid off: first turn with uzkul receiving saw a blitz result and skinks in the backfield. End of turn 2, 1-0 to the Serpents, luckometer - 14% vs 100%. Serpents second TD was the result of a skink short passing (5+) to a saurus (5+) catch, after a failed go for it on a troll blitz (would've been 3d). Godammit. 2 Chaos Dwarves guarders badly hurt at this point. Response at the end of the second half had Gazzid through on the right, and some good marking, but he was taken down by 3 skinks. The Uzkul did start to rack up casualties, however.

Second half saw 8 Serpents on the field - numbers showed as Uzkul freed the ball deep in their own half on the Serpent drive, handing off to Gazzid who ran in the Uzkul's only TD of the game. Game could've been drawn but for a nasty little sidestepping diving tackle skink. Rookie error brough Gazzid crashing down, and the ball free. Chance for the equaliser died with a failed quickpass between hobgoblins, the useless gits.

Second loss then for the Uzkul, who felt nuffle's wrath handling the ball, but were blessed by his favour in blood. Serpents saw the opposite. Fella has a since of humour. Negatives: no cover for blitzes, limited deep defence. Anyone through once is likely through fullstop. Positives: No permanent damage and casualties galore. Niggled kroxigor, and opposition team strength down 28 to only 118 for the next game. Uzkul at least left their mark on the Serpents.
