“After their thrilling draw against the Skaven of Clan Skitter Skitter, the Uaxactun Jaguars marched on, destroying the Masks of the Dance.
The Masks of the Dance won the toss and chose to receive the opening kickoff, but with the Saurus dominating the line of scrimmage, three Skinks were on to Thrower Drathial before he could even collect the ball. After having evaded his pursuers (thanks to a timely blitz from Blitzer Elisiar) Drathial launched an inch-perfect pass to Blitzer Ralien, who initially dropped it, but regathered and proceeded to head for the end zone. A vital blitz by Butz Chan, assisted by Popol K'inich, knocked him down. K'inich tried to collect the ball but instead fumbled it into the crowd.
Meanwhile in the melee on the line of scrimmage, despite the loss of Yax K'uk Mo for the game, the Saurus were asserting their authority, Hasaw Chan K'awil seriously injuring Laril and K'an Chitam killing Marithel with a vicious punch to the head. The Jaguars fans went wild, celebrating the first kill in team history.
The bouncing ball was eventually picked up by Lineman Fortheth, only for him to be blocked by Chak Tok Ichak, causing him to fumble. U Cit Tok dived on the ball. In the ensuing drive Yak Moch Xok smashed Lineman Qalilina to the ground, injuring him too badly to continue. Faced with this further setback and the looming inevitability of a Uaxactun victory, the Elf coach threw in the towel and conceded the game.
Hasaw Chan K'awil and Nun Yax Ayin were awarded MVP awards for this game, which reflected their importance in battering the fragile Elves into submission.
