BBQ won the toss and decided to receive first. A few standard blocks and a foul, followed up by a skulled 1d block left the Chaos Dwarves slightly out of position. Schola was presented with several fantastic opportunities to break the ball free and run for the endzone, but failed to capitalize through continuous ball handling stuff-ups. Half time saw the score 0-0 with Schola confidant that they would be able to score and hold the ball on their turn receiving.

The ref must have had a thing against the Chaos team, as Carnero was sent off on the first turn trying to take out the Bull Centaur Sarah with his boot, leaving the ball on the ground in the backfield. Attempting to recover, Dominus Mortifer picked the ball up and headed off downfield, but managed to trip over his own feet and hit the ground early in the next turn. Recovering from this nicely the ball was up and covered, and with only 7 CD left on the field the game looked like it was sealed! An unfortunate series of blocks where the remaining dwarves refused to be moved saw Schola losing the ball and a hobgoblin free and clear to score. Receiving again with 2 turns to score and equalize was tough, however a blitz from the kickers followed by Skulls gave the BBQ an easy TD for a 0-2 scoreline.
