“Quite possibly the most entertaining game I have played so far on Fumbbl. The game started off as a disaster for the red wings, two quick scores left the wings shaking there heads and going into the locker room with some sagging morale, down 0-2. But there was damage done in the first half offsetting the scores, many rats were out of commission, and two had been sent off by the most strict ref i have ever seen. Gordie Howe rallied the troops in the locker room, he gathered the team around and said, "not today, not on my watch...LETS DO THIS!". The Wings came storming back and behind Howe's two scores and tied the game with three turns left in the match. As the wings lined up for the kickoff, some players were smiling, content with a tie, but not Howe, who offered a quick prayer to Nuffle for victory. Nuffle parted the clouds, and blessed the Wings with a blitz on the kick off after the Wings had taken a large risk and placed the kickoff near the LOS, Howie moved into position and caught the onside kick in perfect stride. Laruid now was down to a handful of rats as the attrition rate had whittled them down. They tried valiantly to get in position to just slow Howe down and escape with a tie, but Howe wasn't going to be denied and strutted into the end zone on turn 16 with the Wings mobbing him and hoisting him on their shoulders, carrying him off the field in all his furry glory.”
