“As customary, Kondor strolled across the pitch and shook hands with coach Emeyln. This had been an extremely tough match. The team traded blow after blow with bodies falling everywhere, but armor incredibly intact.
Both teams vied for position the entire match. Several times, it looked like the orcs would push the ball in for the score. In the end however, it was not the dwarfs that kept the orcs out of the endzone. It was their own big green clumsy feet.
The orc blitzer tired to dodge away from Scody and move in for the score. Yet more nimble creatures had tried that before. Scody simply grabbed his ankle and watched him fall knocking himself out on the rock.
Moments later, Scody grabbed the ball and attempted a pass to Firmshaft down the field. That was predictably futile. but gained a little space from the endzone.
Kondor thought about the game and knew that a draw was as good as a win here. Playing with 10 guys that were slower and weaker than the opponent was very tricky. Thank goodness for good blocking skills or those one on one blocks would have proved futile.
Walking to the locker room, he made a mental note to white list Emeyln. Hopefully, this would be the start of a great rivalry.”
“Both teams looked like they had grease on their hands as they couldn't get the ball and bring it into the end zone. Although, Brewery Boys had several amazing plays to drop the Bleeding Hollow blitzers just short of the Touchdown. Frustrating match as the Dwarves came in with only 10 and still managed to shutdown the Orcs who were at full strength. Everyone's getting flogged tonight, for that lousy performance!”
