“I thought I was gonna get a hammering this match.
1-0 down at half time.
Then a 6 turn riot with me kicking - yikes.
However, the ball landed on the touch line and when the Fellowship's "sure handed" thrower went to pick up the ball, oops - over the line it went and back on the field it came (7 squares away from the endzone) - laugh - I nearly wet myself with glee.
Ogre thrower "Ed Urts" managed to remember what he was doing and picked up the appropriately named "Chuck Tover" and long bombed him down the pitch...
The throw was good,
As was the landing
only Chuck can mess it up now...
But he surpassed himself, a beautiful pick up followed by a lovely sprint into the endzone 1-1.
Majk should've won, he out-played me, but I managed to get slightly more than my share of luck - good game.”
2nd half round 7. 1-0 for me. 2 elves around the ball which is placed deep in the endzone. all the gobbos and ogres on the other side of the field. I figure im just gonna hold on to it here and wait 2 rounds. what could go wrong? Well my idiot thrower goes to pick up the ball WITH sure hands but fails, it scatters into the middle of the field where there are no players. The ogre throws a gobbo perfectly, who picks up the ball and GFIs into the endzone without using a RR. That puts me on turn 8 2nd half with no fling to toss. I figure i can set up my Move 8 elf for a quicksnap push to gain 3 extra move but Tarzom changed his set up last second so i couldnt (dont know if he was thinking about this). Well quick snap happens but i can only get 2 move out of it so one short out of the TD.
I figure i was robbed but oh well. Good game Tarzom. Always a pleasure to play you. A Good coach who keeps it clean and concentrates on "playing" Bloodbowl even with a team such as this.”
