“Kondor crossed the field and shook hands with Lizvis. He had coached a good game, and had managed to keep the elfs on their backs most of the game. Without a doubt, a rematch would be in the cards if Lizvis was willing.

Taking time to think about the match, Kondor simply shook his head. This was the second game in a row where his team had managed to salvage a tie from what looked to be a certain defeat. In this case, saw his nimble wood elves tripping over themselves in the first half. At halftime, he estimated his luck at about 25% while his opponents was a bit over 70%. Yet, the half ended 0-0.

The second half saw the elves knocked around a bit more, but when it seemed the orcs would score, the ball popped out, and an elf picked it up. He was able to throw it to the other side of the field, and the orcs simply could not get it back to their end quickly enough.

The death of Ice Caps was unfortunate as it will mean an extra bit of recovery time. Even now the corpse was leaving the field. Worse still, clear cutter and greenpeace would both miss the next game.

Yep, the next one will be tough too, but elves are proving to be enjoyable to play. Not bad for a first game ever using woodies.”
