This time after shaking hands with Emeyln, Kondor's smile was not so broad. Emeyln commented after the game that Kondor did not have a team that could beat his high elfs. That was a challenge Kondor could not back away from.

The Tropa de Elite met Dragon's deck only hours after Kondor's had bested Emeyln's orcs. Word had gone out that neither coach would tolerate a loss today.

Near the end of the first half, Kondor was smiling 2-0 and the ball was in the opposite endzone after the kick off. His jaw hit the turf as the elf lineman handed off to another lineman, and that elf threw a bomb to the high elf catcher. Not only did Vladamir fail to pick off the catchable pass, but Aimbere could not keep the catcher from escaping his grasp and the elf danced into the endzone. That was a 1-100 play.

The second half was back and forth, but the high elfs were not heedless of their coach's warning that they better not lose. They once again made some spectacular moves to get into the endzone for a game tying TD wit only seconds to play.

For Kondor, this was a most bitter tie. Ties are like kissing your sister. Sure you can do it, but neither side should get anything out of the experience. Reprehensible.

Tropa de Elite won the coin toss and chose to recive. Right from the start they came out firing on all cylinders. After a costly mistake by Aravan trying to sack the Tropa QB he goes down ending the Dragon's Deck's turn. This led to an easy TD.

DD recieved the kickoff but was BLITZ'ed by Tropa. The ball was kicked very well and it settled on the DD's endzone. Coach Nathaniel on the sideline could be heard cursing at the Tropa kicker, Aimbere. Sentalis had to run back and recover it and sends a short pass to Thranduil who ran and handed off to Aravan. Another mistake by Aravan as he leaves his teammates and tries to breakaway from the line of scrimmage with no help. Unfortunately this leads to two easy dodges by Tropa and he is brought down a few yards short of the TD. Frustrated by his misjudgement he takes it out on Aimbere. A hard karate chop fractured Aimbere's arm as he tried to block Aravan's blow aiming to take out his kicking leg. Kondor knew he could ill afford to lose his valuable kicker for the rest of this game and the next so he sent out the apothecary to bring him back up to speed.

Tropa scores another touchdown leaving Dragon's Deck shellshocked. This brought the score 0-2, Dark Elves.

Once again Aimbere kicked the ball onto DD's endzone leaving Coach Nathaniel with a tough call. Edge goes back and retrieves the ball and hands off to Sentalis. Sentalis avoided the tacklers and sent a quick pass over three Tropa defenders. The ball sailed in the air and toward Vladamir, one of the more agile players on the team, (that is saying alot for a DE team) and Elric. One on one single coverage on Elric meant he was wide open. He is just too great of a reciever to be denied. TOUCHDOWN Dragon's Deck! That was a great endzone to endzone play. The 1st half ends with the score 1-2 Tropa de Elite but DD is recieving! Now we got ourselves a game.

DD fans groaned in displeasure as Aimbere this time tricked their opponents and did an onside kick to where DD had one kickoff returner (Thranduil). What do you know? It's another BLITZ by Tropa! Vladamir recieved the kick from his own teammate! Thranduil and Sentalis (next closest DD player) are immediately smothered by four players. Touchdown Dark Elves. Score is now 1-3.

DD recieved the kick and yes the ball is on their own endzone once again. Aravan blows a hole through the Dark Elf line and heads to the backfield. Tropa's safties Manuel Beckman and Aimbere immediately try to jam him. Double coverage on Aravan. He threw several fakes and jukes to finally break free into the endzone despite the great defense. Great offense beats great defense is the story on Aravan. Taebin finds him in the endzone for a short pass. TOUCHDOWN Dragon's Deck! Score is now 2-3.

With the team down by 1 they knew they had to rely on their vaunted defense to step up in this game. DD only allowed opponents to score an average of one per game and three is entirely too much. Aravan still carrying a vendetta against Aimbere knocked him off the field where the rabid fans got a piece or shall we say pieces of him? Fortunately for Tropa it was nothing more than a Badly Hurt. This frees up a passing lane for Sentalis where he is able to find a wide open Elric. TOUCHDOWN!! Final score 3-3.

Great game. Dragon's Deck showed alot of heart in this game by coming back from 1-3 deficit and tying the game. This was a fitting last game for this version of Aravan where he needs to recover from a niggling injury suffered due to his older age. Just bad luck. That news kind of soured the end of this game a little bit.
