“The Gutrippers received the kickoff and despite Gurnrot hospitalising Eugen Eschlimann with a broken jaw the drive came to nothing when Gorblad fumbled a simple handoff, allowing Victoria Nuln to recover. The half ended scoreless.

At the second half kickoff Victoria Nuln massed their team at the line of scrimmage and caused a pinched nerve in Grotsmasher's neck (from a foul by Erhwig Fehr), forcing him out of the game. Possession passed back and forth as block were exchanged. However, through a mixture of powerful blocking and judicious fouling, Victoria Nuln were building up a significant numerical advantage. Eventually Hildebrand Tolzen dispossessed a surrounded Scargul, picked up the ball and headed for the end zone. The Gutrippers, by this point down to only six healthy players, couldn't do anything to stop him. Any hopes of a comeback were scuppered when Chukkit firstly stumbled when trying to collect the ball and then failed to hit his target on the pass.
