“A bloody match against the hulking Ogres of Oooorgh! led to a victory for Grimtoof's Gutrippers but the deaths of two important team members.

Oooorgh! received the first kick off for a while it looked like the Gutrippers had the game under control until Tnarob Madscream broke down the left wing. He seemed certain to run in a touchdown until, desperate to score before the pursuing Orcs could catch him, he stumbled and dropped the ball inches from the line. Chukkit collected the ball and passed to Kargad, who raced two thirds of the length of the pitch to score his third touchdown in four games. Unfortunately Legbreaka, an original member of the team and a stalwart presence in the trenches, was killed by Ogre Vog Noseripper while covering his run.

The Orcs received the ball to start the second half and Chukkit passed the ball to Grimtoof, who raced through a gap in the line and looked like scoring. Unfortunately Kargad was killed while blocking for Grimtoof by Thargh Headbuster, bringing an end to a promising young career and allowing Grimtoof to be delayed long enough for the defence to get back and smother him. After a failed attempt to hurl a goblin over the defence Ketegl Hearteater looked like he would score the equalizing touchdown with seconds left on the clock, unfortunately he dawdled while his teammates tried to beat up a few more player and the clock ran out before he could cross the line.

Player of the Game: Kargad. Before his untimely demise the young Blitzer was having an impressing game, scoring a stylish touchdown.”
