#9 Chukkit – Smashed Hip (-MA) #13 Smalrar – Dead (RIP)
“Nasash's Nightbringers received the opening kickoff and made good progress on their initial drive, killing Smalrar almost immediately and injuring a number of other members of the Gutrippers. Despite the heroic efforts of Gorblad the Nightbringers' brought their crushing numerical advantage to bear, with Throw-Ra Thoth running it in virtually unopposed.
Grimtoof's Gutrippers could only muster ten players for the ensuing kickoff. Thanks to a slick quick snap Chukkit was able to free Scargul down the left wing, who flattened Thoth, evaded Mummy Shakir and burst through to score.
The final drive of the half saw relatively little action until Scumgut was sent for an early shower following a foul on Blitz-Ra Khalid.
The combined effect of deaths, injuries and a sending off left the Gutrippers down to only nine players for the start of the second half. A well-timed blitz from the Nightbringers wreaked havoc with the Gutrippers plans and despite Scargul being wide open behind the Khamrian defence Chukkit fumbled the ball. The Nightbringers continued to use their numerical advantage and physical strength well, sending Nekbreaka to the apothecary's pit and smashing Chukkit's ankle so badly he was left with a permanent limp, which should teach him to fumble the ball. Throw-Ra Jibade collected the loose ball and scored easily.
The Gutrippers started their final drive with only eight players and despite Scargul's best efforts couldn't make an impression on the strong Khemri defence.
The Gutrippers limped away from a match which was more one-sided than the scoreline suggests. The Khemrian mummies were simply too physical for the Orcs and they were never able to overcome their numerical disadvantage.
Player of the Game: Scargul. In a generally poor performance, Scargul's offensive threat was a bright spot for the Gutrippers.”
