The knights took the field after a long hiatus against another band of dragon men. As rusty as they were they came out swinging, with Sir Chet Ingeval smashing the claw of a saurus as soon as the ball was kicked off. Squire Newman Bangort resorted to his usual underhanded ways by attempting to hurt the largest lizard while he was already knocked down, but his knight noticed and warned that any more foul play would result in his removal from the game. Afterwards, the knights regrouped and slowly moved up the field. Eventually runner Agustin Londre had the ball saw an opening through which he could score an easy touchdown. But a crafty lizard was hiding in the middle of the melee untouched, and easily took him down to end the first half in a 0-0 stalemate.

The lizards received the ball in the second half. In a ferocious charge the small lizard carrier was quickly mobbed and taken down by runner Emerson. But the shifty lizards were able to retrieve the ball and break into the open field. The knights gave pursuit, but were unable to stop the skink from scoring. Down a touchdown and with time running out, a plan was hatched. After the kickoff a few of the knights opened a hole in the line of the dwindling lizards, through which runners Emerson and Augustin sprinted. The lizards took the bait, surrounding and knocking them down. But Sir Chet quietly sat on the other side of the field uncontested. Archer Efrain passed him the ball, and the other knights and squires set up a perimeter around him. Realizing their folly the lizards quickly changed fields, but it was too lane and Sir Chet scored as time expired, ending the game in a tie. Now it’s back to the practice fields to ensure that their next match will be even better.
