“I had good luck all game until the match was decided and even then I had average or better luck. I did point that out in what I thought was an acceptable manner.

Dwarves stacked the line on the opening kickoff and the skaven obliged by knocking most of it down and ended with BH foul on the ST 5 blitzer. I few lucky armor/injury rolls later, the skaven were up 1-0 with 3 turns left to go. The dwarves received but were met with a perfect D. The rats could not escape the once-again stacked line, but were able to look as though they could pressure the dwarves. The dwarves put a player in position to score, but the rats took him out. The dwarves also lost two players to the ref on spotting fouls. the rats scooped up the ball and scored; 2-0 right before half.

The second half saw a more even pattern of luck. The rats suffered some attrition and then failed a dauntless and 2-block rolls early in a turn to allow the dwarves to score. The dwarves used their 3rd foul early on and the rats replied. The rats were able to dance around the backfield for a bit to run out the last 3 turns, but not before a rules infraction occurred and the tape of the game was sent to the commissioner's office for review.

I am assuming you were just having a bad day or something. As a skaven coach playing up 70 TS against dwarves with no player reducing handicaps to help out, I can handle you deciding not to chat all game. However, I did think that the turn 16 foul on a 130K player, without an apoth left, after the match was decided to go over the foul limit of 3 for the league was a bit much (and I did remind you of this as you were lining up for it).

I hope our future matches will be a little more friendly (which does not necessarily mean less fouling). This is my first season in NCBB and I really thought the fluff made it look like fun. Hopefully this was just a blip.”
