“The Marauders's lined up for their first match, but were unable to do any useful hitting in the opening minutes of the game.
However Raral was able to slip past the orc defense with the help of some useful blitzing by Nare to score an early touchdown.
The Orc's hit back however and their blocking was far more effective, quckly seeing three elves off the field for the rest
of the game and one in the KO bin. However the elves were able to sack the ball carrier and with the help of nuffle an evenly
matched block on the ball carrier fell in their favour. Nare was able to withstand a punishing amount of blocking and then dodge
between two elves to pick up the ball and run safely away from the orcs for a late touch down.
With three players badly hurt and Eziof wisely feigning being knocked out, it was a depleted Marauder line setting up for the next
defensive drive. The linemen were able to stand up to the orc bashing as the half time siren sounded.
Angered by the stolen touch down, the orc fans invaded the pitch at the start of the second half, leaving only 3 elves standing to
defend the slasher's drive. The orcs saw knocked out another elf and some serious coaching errors saw the elves unable to stop
a quick orc touch down.
The Marauders lined up for an offenseive drive but with few players and some amateur coaching they were overrun by the orcs who
tied the game in the dying minutes.”
