Dead Dudes scored early in the first half and some strong cage movement meant Bier set themselves up for a turn 8 score - half time 1-1.
Bier started the second half well and looked to be in control and on their way to winning until a Dudes Golem found the ball carrier. They were unable to get the ball though and Bier retrieved it setting up for a tense last couple of turns and only a failed hand off roll on turn 16 prevented them winning the game.
