In this rather one sided game Phil got the following 4 handicaps - It wasn't me, palmed coin, knuckledusters and Morleys Revenge (on 1 CDs and 1 BC and 1 Hob).
Despite the handicaps offering a vague hope, it never really looked likely for phil to pull off any shocker here... especially as Morleys only struck 1 player per drive it seemed.
Some early blows knocked the resistance from the Vampire team, and with the loss of a block thrall to a failed apoth the CD team couldn't help but tread softly... they got 3 players skilled up from completions and TDs.
However, despite the result, this team looks likely to come a close 2nd to Unstoffe's lizards who we could only draw against earlier in the league. This was despite Chewie making a very close grab at the lead, but then received a mauling.
So an okay season... and far too much cash in the bank... but with a BC on 50spp it may be that we hang on to it untilwe see if skilling up results in a niggle!
Thanks for the game Phil... hope your team gets in better shape for the next league!”
