“A very, very exciting game!

It all started rather bad for the Mesmers, with their first drive foiled on very easy rolls. Pestered by 1s, the elves lost the ball and by T4 Half 1 Blister Effect scored. What's worse, the elven captain - Melithel, got KOed in the process...so hard she didn't return all game!

But from there, it all changed. The Mesmers recieved again and got the ref. However, being elegant ballplayers they didn't push the advantage, focusing on the ball instead and equalizing by the end of the half. And KOing a few skaven players on their way.

2nd Half belonged to the elves. They still had trouble handling the ball and decided to play it out orc-style. After securing numerical advantage and removing all three skaven positionals, there was little the Effective players could do but to watch the graceful Cali Silvertongue score score score.

In fact all three TDs belonged to her, definately Woman (err...Elvin?) of the Match

On the Skaven side the MVP is well deserved, as it went to the linerat who scored in style! Kudos to Arnold, and his coach ofcourse :)

All in all a close thing - on one hand the elven ballplay was poor indeed, on the other the rat's 1db's almost never failed...could have truly gone either way.”
