“A momentous, epic confrontation had fans gripped as this game went to the wire between two very evenly matched sides.
The elves got off quickly with a turn two score which was followed by a riot!
The Buccaneers Head Coach was thinking it might be one of those games but Michael Pittman added a quick reply from a Johnson (who had career highs with 5 completions including 2 TD passes) pass with Sapp causing havoc in the middle seriously injuring Taurnil and KOing two other players.
Again the elves scored quickly before the half ended, and must have been confident going in at the half as the much vaunted Bucs defense was showing little.
A steady 5 play TD drive ended with Derrick Brooks, captaining the team once more pounding the ball in from close range to tie the scores again. Just before though the elves had gotten a turnover from Pittman and almost scored but Rumil tripped under pressure from the outstanding Johnson and was knocked out. Rumil did not return to the action.
The Bucs defense knew it had to stop the elves this time and did so with authority. They swarmed to the elves attacking down the right and Brooks sacked Legolas before he could get the pass away due to outstanding coverage and blocking from the Bucs.
Johnson then broke the back of LotRUnided2 by completing a quick screen pass to Keyshawn Johnson who took it to the house for the seemingly impossible win. ”
