Kondor congratulated Emeiyn on a well earned victory and headed for the locker room.

This was a rather frustrating match for Coach Kondor. He always tried to call a blitz at least once a game against Emeiyn, so the early TD was a huge boost for his team. Still, the elves were strong on the offensive side of the ball, a getting to them again proved to be impossible.

Kondor had hoped to take the second half kick and move down the field for a go ahead touchdown and put some preassure on the Deckhands. It was not to be as the normally agile skink failed to dodge away from the elf purser. Had he escaped the clutches, he would have been able to move to a much safer portion of the field, and perhaps on to the endzone.

Still, we will never know what would of been because of his own big feet. In Kondor's mind, this was the turning point of the game.

In the locker room, he found the ladies were rather down on themselves. In fit of rage, he fired the teams most adept skink to make room for new blood. Maybe now, the saurus would pick up some of the slack.

Good game.

Serpents of Eve won the coin toss and elected to kick the ball. Coach Nathaniel was a little surprised by this decision but Coach Kondor had something up his sleeves. Sure enough, a BLITZ followed shortly after the kickoff and the Elves were overwhelmed in the backfield as Juicy Jackie ran it in for a TD.

Dragon's Deck once again recieved the ball but this time they were able to get their offense going and manage a TD by Elbereth. That ended the 1st half.

The second half began and Dragon's Deck showed a little of their old vaunted defense that made them such a fan favorite. Coming up from behind, Elbereth and Aravan were able to sack the skink QB in the backfield causing a fumble both times. Taebin made the most of the situation as he happened to be in the right place at the right times on both accounts. He ended up with two defensive TD's.

Coach Nathanield was pleased with today's bounce back game as the game before was a 1-3 loss to a dark elf team. Funny enough was their only TD from that game was on defense. Is this a sign that DD's Defense is coming back on its own? Is it a coincidence that this coincides with the return of Aravan? Maybe, but only time will tell.
