The agile Dwarf runner stayed well protected behind a wall of beardies during the first half. After much jostling the Dwarfs opened up a flank and sent a blitzer down the sideline with the ball. Napoleon the Thrower/Safety was able to push the surly dwarf towards the sideline. The blitzer then attempted to dodge his way into the endzone, tripping and sending the ball into the stands. Coach Pipster seemed to take this as a message from the Dwarven gods to never avoid a 1D block, because he dished them out with reckless abandon throughout the rest of the match. With much success.
Denied the opportunity to score late in the first half by a failed GFI, the Orcs were quick to score in the second half --forced by the dwarfs resilience to the Orcs attempted bashing.
The Dwarf offence sliced through the greenskins and the proceeded down the flank in much greater numbers than their last attempt. The sneaky Orcs were able to knock the ball carrier down and Whistler, the surprisingly agile Orc Lineman, was able to scoop up the ball and get it into the hands of a speedier team mate, who was able to put the game beyond doubt.
