“I read a lot of negative comments about Elf Ball. Well this game was a good example of why elves play Elf Ball and avoid Bash Ball.

Usually when you win 2-0 it means good things happen to you. That is not true for this game. The Injury report does not tell the complete story.

I actually got 4 niggling injuries and a Death from this match. One saved by Apoth and one from aging during the only skill roll I got from this game.

The reward for 100K Blitzer killed, 70K double niggled Line Elf retired, and a Team with 3 niggled players. 40K - I have seen better days.

Lesson learned - Do not man mark ogres. I could have allowed the Ogres to score a TD to tie the game 1 - 1 and then come back with a game winning TD in the second half. Instead I put pressure on the whole field. I took the goblins out early and man marked the ogres. Since they were outnumbered I was able to take down the Ogre ball carrier. So I got a W in the win column but it cost a lot. ”
