“With rumours abound that the VeV management had bribed the officials for todays game, the crowd were in buoyant mood for the arrival of Khemri side Unnatural Diasters. The chaos players quickly smashed into their undead adversaries and with opposition players strewn on the floor, the beasts, believing they were entitled to foul without any kind of official retribution, started stomping on anything underfoot. However there had been a miscommunication, and the referee sent off Luctor et Emergo for only his second foul! With chaos ensuing in the chaos dugout, VeV stalwart Mulgere Hircum was caught out position and a rampaging mummy rammed him with such force that his body was torn clean in two. There's nothing a bit of the right potion and magic touch can't fix, but knowing that the beastman had a long standing injury, Coach Chainsaw withheld treatment and the crowd applauded in respect as the pieces were removed from the field of play. Whilst this all went on, rookie beastman Sui Generis romped home his first ever touchdown.

The crowd were outraged and a rather scared new referee came out for the restart. Apparently the previous one had not made it off the field before angry fans yanked him into the stand.

With time running out in the first half, Coach Backlash had his side attempt to reply with more speed than Khemri are used to, and the defense stole the ball for a 2-0 lead at the break. The second half was dominated by angry mummies who beat the hell out of a dwindling chaos line up, but they forgot to concentrate on scoring so only made the one touchdown and VeV ran for their lives off the field as victors for the day!”
