“There was absolutely no way I should have failed to win this game, having destroyed his team during a heavy 1st half. However a series of disastrous 2nd half blunders, caused by total lack of concentration, conspired to not just cost me the victory but almost hand it to Mr_Prezident on a silver platter. Having ripped apart his side, killing his only wolf in the second turn, and outnumbering his team, I mauled near the side expecting my extra strength, guard, and numbers to make for a precarious situation for the Giant Graves to have to defend. First came a turn where something like 12 dice went by without a knockdown (against non-block zombies). Then came a turn where my ST5 warrior was -2d blocked into the crowd. Despite this tactical blunder, and numbers now more even, I still had the extra skill and agility on the pitch. His ball carrier was accessible, a warrior to hit him with, but... wait... I moved the previous player the wrong way, a 2d hit becomes a 1d, and my warrior succeeds in only flooring himself. From there I was fortunate to prevent the winner, and somehow managed to steal the ball - only for an interception, the 5th out of the last 6 interceptable throws intercepted against my team, this time by a rotter.
Rotten luck for Mr_Prezident and a rotten half for me! My team's fans were obviously unimpressed with the profligacy on display.”
