“After limply losing 2-0 to an undead team in the previous game, VeV had a lot of critics to answer against Borgen's Revenge of the Mushrooms. Coach Chainsaw was without his usual entourage, of which his lack of focus had been attributed to and subsequent poor performances of the team.

The chaos team looked fired up and this quickly turned into a game Coach Borgen will wish to forget. By half time there were only a few zombies and a wight left on the field, and the mummies spent the rest of the match nursing their wounds in the dugout. With the disparity in strength, though, came complacency and the defense was porous as the ghouls swept in an early equaliser. Sensing that strength was not everything, they blitzed the VeV offense and for a moment a sensational undead victory was on the cards. However, this is Blood Bowl, strength IS everything and as soon as the chaos team regrouped, the heroic fires of the undead were quickly put out and normal service of an overflowing KO and injury box was resumed as a beastman, biding his time, ambled over the line with ball in hand for the winner.”
