At the end of the first half, Cross the Line was up by a score and two men. Only one of the werewolfs sat in the infirmary. He was expected to return, but without the allure of of Scooby Snacks, he chose to nurse his injuries for the remainder of the game.

It was almost a fatal loss for the team. To start the second half, kondor dialed up a blitz and charged what remained of his team across the field. The ghoul in the backfield had a look of terror in his eye as the elves swarmed around him. The team could not regroup quickly enough, and Chico Mendes gathered tha ball and scored the teams go ahead TD.

The next kick off saw a short kick followed by a blocker tripping trying to throw a block. The elf blitzer took advantage, crossed the line, picked up the ball and ran towards the endzone with all the elves and most of the necro team following. Only one ghoul stood in the way. Aimbre managed to catch up with Tiradentes to assist hi blast towards the endzon for a score that would have sealed the game.

Instead, inexplicably and unexcusably, Tiradentes blocked instead of blitzed and stood waiting for the mob of undead. Still, the game seemed to be in hand, with time running out. Yet the remaining werewolf pounced on the ball once it was knocked loose and completed a long pass to a lonely zombie. In the final moments, he was able to make a contested hand off to the wight known as Walter who waltzed into the endzone.
