“It was a good match between these 2 Elven teams. What began as a friendly game of elfball ended up with animosity on both sides. The match began with the All American BenchWarmers BLITZ'ing on defense. They put alot of pressure on the Grand Design but being put in these situations so often the High Elves were able to secure the ball despite many Wood Elf bodies penetrating the backfield. Wtih too many Wood Elves lagging in the backfield, Grand Design took advantage and speeded to the end zone overrunning the little AABW defense left with at least 5 blockers escorting their ballcarrier. However, before the Touchdown there was a scuffle as the AABW players, knowing they couldn't stop the TD, sort of gave up and took out their aggression on poor Lathander. They kicked and punched the poor elf while he was down. Immediately, team Grand Design came to his rescue and got their boy out of harm's way. Oh yeah, they also scored the TD. On the next kickoff, Lathander once again was targeted. Brandy Flowers scores a vicious blow to his face breaking his jaw. It was so bad the Apothecary failed to fix him up.

The next half began and bad blood kept brewing between these two teams. Elbereth, being the leader of the team had to set the tone. GD kicked off to AABW and this time GD returned the favor and brought their own BLITZ! Elbereth stormed through the backfield with a flying spinning roundhouse that took Sheila Smith's life briefly before the medics were able to patch her back up. Coach MadMac had a feeling he was going to need his apothecary later and so he hesitated before sending them out. From here the fans believe Coach MadMac may have let his anger get the best of him. There was one point where he ordered a blitz on a GD lineman on the other side of the field from the ball just to knock him out of bounds. This was a mistake that led to the 2nd GD TD.

On the next drive, the Wood Elf kicker, Irina Veronina tried to get open to throw a pass but fumbled the ball and tripped on it stunning herself. Teclis grabbed the ball and began to try to break free but Stacy Darling one of two of AABW's most agile elves was in the way. Elbereth saw this and rushed in to clear a path. What happened next was not what the Elven Nation in the crowd came to see. Stacy's death was so gruesome they had to bring two garbage bags and several buckets of water to clean up the mess. Elbereth was not available for comment after the game. As a side note, many young Elves want to be just like him but this latest tragedy may cause some Elven parents to blacklist his games.

Like him or not, it was a legitimate block and many say they wouldn't have gotten that 3rd Touchdown without it. Good game to both teams.
