“The Pothole Pirates have managed two straight victories since their resurrection, something that has surprised both themselves, their fans and the rest of the Blood Bowl community.

In their second game they went up against the Spagetti Splashers, in a match that would turn out to be a weird one. Shalnak's boys were originally extremly fortunate in everything they attempted and sent pirates flying through the air, but somehow the little ones showed enough endurance and heart to remain on the pitch.

Glut had a magical day and delivered bombs more accurately than most elves would, but by a twist of irony he achieved almost nothing. The few times the chaos flings didn't dodge the blasts completly they instead caught it and threw it back, once by one of the minotaurs.

Still the Pirates managed to outflank the flings in the first half and score 1-0, and then defend the lead with the help of a scattered ball. In the second half Glut actually managed to bring down the ball carrier, which lead to a counter attack where Master Klank could score after shaking off some pursuers. During that drive the lesser pirates took a hell of a beating from the minotaurs, but at least they sacrificed themselves for a victory.
