“The luck DoB changed for this game as most of the blocks were succesful and I even managed to score some casualties, even though the handicap was something as useless as the VIRUS (yes, count the nigglers of opponent...)

First half was marked by two rapid touchdowns with my norse starting the scoring. Though, the opponent's sneaky catcher was able to respond almost instantly. Towards the end the pace slowed a bit and the half ended in a tie.

Second half started off similarly with two TDs in rapid succession, luckily the opponent's catcher decided to stay longer at the VIP lounge (aka. KO bin) and I wasn't threatened by the opponent's badly short handed team towards the end.

The end was a bit of a nailbiter with opponent manning the sidelines and guarding against TD - My attempt didn't fail on a dodge to 2 tackle zones, one die block or a dodgeless dodge but on the ball pickup, naturally.

Overall the game was a well deserved tie with few ifs - had I lifted the ball, had opponent's ogre done anything right, had I succeded in one quadruple skull block with my norse lineman ending up badly hurt - but today on pitch the teams were evenly matched.

Grats for the opponent for managing to keep a tie game even with less than full pitch.”
