The most obvious came mid way in the second half when the slugg fest around the ball carrier finally resulted in the ball coming free. The ensuing brawl led to Thunderer finally picking up the ball and dodging away from the opposing thrower. Then using all of the energy in his stumpy little legs, he pushed on for what would prove to be the only score of the game.

The remainder of the games was similarly well played. Shadowseer expertly guided his team and put them in the best position possible to draw the match. Yet, the Brewery Boys pushed themselves to their limits with dwarf after dwarf pushing for every yard he could muster. At last, the runner was facing a wall of opposition, which he proved unable to avoid.

Twas a game well played, and the Brewery Boys struggled but secured their second win. Not bad for a team that had once been on the brink of being disbanded.
