“Layla is a blind coach. Can't see the luck he gets. At the end of the first half he commented that he hoped the luck would swing HIS way. This set me off.

Lets consider...first half...He gets the ref on the kick off. (Some, myself included...might consider this very lucky in itself...but for layla? Nah.)

He then ko's an ogre on his first blitz...no problem. ( Notice however, no casualties achieved for the ogres in the entire game...)

My turn two, he leaves his ball carrier within one go for it of an ogre...no dodging...I stand my ogres up...then go for the easy blitz...failed gfi...rr...failed...snakes of course...

He doesnt even recognize this as a bad move on his part...

Note that i fouled twice...got ejected the second time...( the ref's eye wasnt on me.)

The first half continues in much the same way...me using up rerolls to avoid double skulls etc.

Then..in turn 5 of the first half...he's set up for an easy score but for some reason decides to dodge his wight into a tackle zone...ag4 wight sure..but no reroll...when he could have protected his ball carrier with a zombie...he fails...i blitz my turn...get the ball carrier...ball goes out and bounces midfield...I manage to get some lucky dice with my remaining goblin get him downfield with a ttm. Remember..he has no rr at this time. He dodges a ghoul twice. Fine..the ghoul has dodge. Then the other ghoul..4 dodges...two of those into a tackle zone, and ends with two gfi. Then does a one die block on an ogre and gets a pow. Then dodges with his ag 4 wight ...and two more gfi. ( Now my frustration is showing even more...my single player gfi to hit his undefended ball carrier got me some snake eyes and primo positioning for him to foul the crap out of my ogres.

My turn 7 i score.

Kick off result...pitch invasion......ooh...setting up an ogre for an easy foul...which results in a kill...apoth works...surprisingly.

Second half is more of me trying to hurt his ghouls ( i have a tackler) and failing ...with one die blocks working wonders for him and opening up lanes to my ball carrier.

Lets just consider the kick off results...

For him...Get the ref on turn 1. Blitz. Perfect defense. Reroll for him. Pitch invasion leaving my ogre in a position for a get the ref foul.

Layla thinks the luck was even...called me out for complaining about things...then said I shouldnt blame my poor playing on the dice. I asked him what mistakes I made...and he couldnt name a single one.

Layla's the type of person who thinks pointing out facts is whining.
Especially considering layla was the one who...at the half...made the comment that he/she hoped the luck would switch over.

I sure wish it would have.



He thinks the LUCK meter indicates we had equal luck? Where was my blitz,perfect defense,get the ref? Where are my casualties? Hell..I got ONE ko the entire game.

Again...I only had to start pointing out how ludicrous the luck was AFTER my opponent expressed his wish that in the second half it would switch and favor him.

I sure do wish we play again. I sure hope I have his "bad luck".
