“Kondor crossed the pitch and shook hands with Bo-brum. Kondor freely admitted that he had been out coached. Only a fortunate bounce of the ball gave the Brewery Boys hope of a win this game.

There had been a slight chance of a score late in the first half, but as things played out, Kondor squandered that chance in the hopes of getting his new runner a TD. Twas not to be.

The second half saw the Steamboat Slayers march down the field with purpose. This time not to be denied. Indeed, they did score and tie the match, but Blood Axe lived up to his name. You see Gloin had recognized Blood Axe from his days before taking the slayer oath, and made the mistake of calling him by that forgotten name. BA was stirred to remember a minor slight between his forgotten clan and Gloin's. So in the closing moments of the match, he threw a malicious elbow to the blitzer's head, and now Gloin is with his ancestors.
