“Possibly the best game of blod bowl i have ever played. It was a tense and close match and i think a draw really summed up the way the game went. The first touchdown was by the home runners when the elves tried to throw the ball away from their lines and Oly somehow managed to intercept the bullet throw and went on to run the ball down for a touchdown. The woodies replied immediately moving so fast that the home runners didnt even see them pass them and before they knew what was going on Meris was spiking the ball in the end zone of the home runners. After the interval the game continued in the same manner with very end to end play. The Woodies nearly crossed the home runners touchline a second time when a desperate pair of throwers and a lineman stopped him as he fumbled the ball and was inches away from the touchline. But before the Thrower could clear the ball he was tackled by wardancer and taken down but as the ball fell out his hands the other thrower managed to claim it. The lineman opened a path and cleared the way for the thrower who went to hand it onto another lineman when he dropped it! The elves jumped on the ball quickly but could not hold onto it themselves. In a fantastic move the thrower reclaimed the ball from under a wardancers nose and handed it onto Oly who ran it home for his second of the game. The elves once again quickly replied and try and the humans might to keep up with them the elves were too quick and barged their way through the makeshift defensive line to equalise again. With the end of the game in sight things started to get a little nasty and some fouling took place but that is part and parcel of the game. Oly, then home runners captain had watched how the elves dodge between players and has picked up some moves so he will be able to dodge like they do! Good game all round and well enjoyed.

Sidenote: the Camra broke near the end of the first half and misses most of the the first half but was fixed in the interval so the second half is recorded ”
