On the offence the Playground from Hell showed just how fast they could be making full use of the width of the pitch taking full advantage of the Goddesses' reluctance to get too close because of the smell.

Half time saw a score line of 1-1 and the luck at 30-40 with the Goddesses getting the worst of it.

The next Amazon touchdown was made harder than it should have been by the coach making a couple of miscalculations and ultimately the breakthrough came thanks to a piece of misfortune befalling a blitzing ghoul.

The final quarter was tense with the Goddesses defending their fine lead with holes showing in their defense, due to a couple of unsuccessful attempts by the PfH to cause players to defect to them. No thanks to the Apoth the injuries although serious, were not fatal and the ladies concerned will just be missing a game rather than being sadly missed.

But tenacious to the end they held on and thanks to a sneaky trip they were able to mount a counter offensive with only the referee's whistle denying them a third touchdown.”
