“Murder Cup - Round 1:

A very close game where a few skulls by our opponent turned the game in our favor. It was a blood filled game...but the players were not seriously hurt (for the most part) and got out of the KO box quick for more action.

We received first and drove for a score - could have stalled out the half, but were eager for more, but 4 of 5 awoke from the lizards KO box and even with a blitz, they were able to push the ball forward and nearly scored. However, they did not realize we had a ST 4 storm vermin and made a 1d blitz with no RR left on turn 8 and failed it, so it was 1-0 at the half.

In the second half, more tragedy for the lizards as a quad skull preempted a turn and we were able to knock the ball free...it bounced to the Kroxigor - and it almost escaped, but we tracked it down and stole the ball...with the speed of the gutter runners, the game was sealed. More kicking, punching and elbows were thrown by both sides; however, the game ended as Dobby took the ball across for the 2-0 victory.
