Well I got diced horribly, the game was over by turn 8, and I had used my apoth.

I hate giving up, but I am like a lot of coaches here, I invest a lot of time and effort into my teams, and I don't like to see them destroyed. I wasn't going to conceed, so retreat was my only option.

Crib fouled my thrower to near death, which was expected, I put him there as my most expendable remaining player. But then he hunted me down despite my obvious strategy, forcing me to fight out the corner.

Then I was subject to the usual piss taking. No one likes being screwed by the dice, and I was ok with it until the end of the match. I know when to back off from teams, I know when enough damage has been done.

But yeah. Quote the 'rules' to justify destroying my team. Because I bet you have NEVER retreated before in a game have you?

Zara the Slayer has risen from the dead to join Bring Out Your Stars!
<Calcium> \o/

Pretty much summed up the match. Took Zara home with me, totally outdiced Calcium, and despite what he percieved as me 'taking the piss', I was actually looking forward to giving this coach a game.

I'll put it down to the shocking dice and grossly unfair armour rolls, and add sincerely that a rematch would be welcomed gladly any time. Apologies again that you didn't enjoy the game, I know I'd find it hard to kepep smiling if the boot was on the other foot.
