#8 Tuffy Thresher – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#8 Tuffy Thresher – Smashed Hip (-MA)
This game was not meant to be for the Sharks. Likely their chance at winning the Premiere is over as they lose to the only team that has EVER been able to beat them in the NWL.

The Sharks are curious after two easy Premiere victories if this league will provide any competition other than the Heroines. I guess they'll have to wait and see.

Good game Heroines you got us today hopefully we can return the favor later.

A wacky game...it rained all game and that as usual mades things tough...the Sharks started with the ball and drove the field...however, they did not want to score right away - which gave the girls a chance at a miracle...and the 5+ dodge followed by a -2d block for double POW worked on the ST 4 blodger ghoul and the ball was free...in the following scrum, we came away with the ball and a gfi, 5+ pass, 4+ catch worked on T8 for the 1-0 lead.

However, the Sharks started to inflict some damage - they were caging, not exposing their block/tackle/mb wight were we could foul him - but keep their good players shielded - but still the wight took out 1 girl and a mummy another...if not for the quick apothecary, our blitzer, Esmeralda would no longer be with us.

In the second half, we took the ball the length of the field and scored - although it took again some lucky dodges and 2 gfi to make it. Afterwards, we figured with no apoth and it raining, 4 turns were going to be too few for a tired shark team...and we were right - although a spirited play on T16 netted them a score after a silly mistake by a rookie girl caused an early turnover.

All in all, it was jut our day as the sharks struggled mightly the entire game. Thanks and good luck the rest of the way!
