Kondor crossed the pitch and shook hands with Brunzum. This had been one hell of a match, and he wanted the coach to know that he appreciated the skill displayed by the orc coach.

As in any well played game, the difference between a win and a loss can be one or two dice rolls. That was certainly the case today.

Returning to the locker room, Kondor took a moment to reflect upon the match. The first possession was almost a typical wood elf possession except for three minor things. First, it was snowing, second, the wood elf receiver dropped a quick pass, and third, the tree put himself in the ko box on the first move of the game. Ehhh, what can you do? After the score by SOforTP, the tree came out of the box, and the elves returned the ball to the orcs.

This was a monumental drive where no matter the efforts of the elves, they just could not quite keep them out of the endzone. With a late score, the elves kicked off for the second half with the kicker on the bench. Bahhh, who needs him. The wild bounce put the ball along the sideline near the woodie team. Everyone scrambled for that side, but the blitzer cold not quite handle the ball. A blitz and a quick move later saw the freak with the ball sprinting toward the endzone. In the meantime, the orcs took out their frustrations on the other elves putting 3 on the bench.

With most of the second half to play, Kondor noticed that hell had frozen over. He really did not like the view. This time, the orcs handled the ball well, and moved quickly to the elf side of the pitch. Here, Kondor chose to take some risks. He signaled for the Seal Clubbing Fiend to make a solo move on the ball carrier in the hopes of slowing him up. For a moment, it looked like he tripped, but instead the ball popped loose and a mad scramble erupted.

Within the scrum, the ball changed hands several times finally ending up with a black orc who knew he would never reach the endzone before time expired. In desperation, he looked to a blitzer who had a shot, but that pesky wardancer appeared and knocked him back into the scrum.

Time expired, with the Anti-Treehuggers securing the win.
------------------------------------

The VIP of this match has to go to the maker of my elven armor. There were a number of stuns, but the orcs were held to one cas despite more hand to hand work than I wanted to see.

Oh, and Brunzum, at the end of the match, I commented that you held rough practices. Don't take offense as I simply missread your earlier statement. You said "Hell looks like paradise." It is almost one in the mourning here. I thought you wrote, "Hell, it looks like practice." It was not a comment on the orcs rather just a response to what I thought you wrote.

Brunzum moves to my white list.
