“Finally the Thunderfists' no-win streak was cut. The Wood Elves put up a good fight, but were eventually outplayed by the dwarves. Not by much though.
The elves initially were able to score quickly the first touchdown of the game after some effective passing game while the dwarves were concentrating on pummeling the elven players.
The dwarves retaliated on the final turn of the first half. The dwarves were completely unable to inflict any serious damage to the elf team because of all those pushbacks, dodges and such. Very unlucky day blockwise for the dwarves.
On the second half the dwarves did what they do best. Ran the ball behind a wall of dwarves to the endzone. They left two turns on the clock for the elves to score in, but effectively stopped all attempts.
A fine match for the Harag Thunderfists. Beer kegs were left empty after the celebrations. Whether this is a permanent turn of luck for the dwarven team, remains to be seen...”
