“Ignorant of the blazing sun the slave's coach told them to "Go out there and throw the ball around you useless rookies".

The sun was a bit too much however and the rookie team wasn't up to the task. The sons were able to take advantage of this and some solid coaching led
to two defensive touch downs in the first half. Some pretty average field positioning left the Dark Elves down 2-0 entering the second half.

In a strange twist of fate the lizardmen failed some basic rolls to open up their offensive half, and some (finally) competent play led to a dark elf touchdown.
The lizardmen received a touch back as the ball was kicked into the crowd, however the big Kroxigor mistimed the block on the line and went down against a rookie line elf. The slaves
weren't able to take advantage of the situation as the ball carrier was well defended, and the scaled ones scored another touchdown to be up 3-1 with a couple of turns to spare.

In a last desperate attempt at a touchdown the dark elves ran the ball down the sideline, only to be pushed into the crowd by a brave skink. The ball was thrown in favourably for the lizardmen,
however they were unable to capitalise due to some unlucky blocking, and a little bit of elf ball (and some more lizard bad luck) helped the slaves to score
their 2nd touchdown.

Fairly mediocre winnings, but considering how poorly we played we'll be thankful for that. Somehow we gained some fans (probably lizardmen that felt sorry for us).
