“Well The Half Pint's and the Teutonic Knights ran out onto the pitch for a much anticipated battle. With 45,000 screaming fans at the Knights home stadium it was no surprise.

The Half Pint's won the toss and took the ball first, and it was no surprise what they wanted to do. Given a touch back Reginal started with the ball and Maple Splinter Fist proceeded to pick him up for a launch. But the Knights were able to shake his limbs just enough that he dropped him. The ball launched deep into Knight territory as their fans screamed with excitement .

The Knights with renewed energy cleared the way down the left side of the field with ease. Their star player Beowulf ran back and picked up the ball and hurled it to the blitzer Panzercratz. He took off running to the open side of the field that had just been cleared. But the halflings did not despair. Twigs McCrackin scored his first CS of the season and the halflings used their size to their advantage and surrounded the blitzer ducking and dodging their way in. After a battle for the ball Filbert was able to pick up the loose ball and wiggle just enough room to score a touchdown.

We were able to hang tough and stall them till the second half.

The second half started and the Knights controlled the ball moving slowly but surely to the endzone!

With only two turns left it looked forever like it was going to be a tie. But the heroics was only about to begin! A quick snap caught the Knights on their heels and being down so many men it was hard to guard all the holes. A touch back put the ball in Minto's hands and Twigs McCrackin lifted him up and launched him in to Knight territory! Minto was able to land on his feet and had to push his way into the open endzone for the game winner!!

An excellent battle that was close all the way down to the wire! But the Half Pint's stuck to the game plan and was able to execute the second time around to steal one in a hostile stadium!

Although it was a win, it still did not come with out it's loses. Ponto has a fractured skull and lost an AV point, and Merimac had his hand smashed so bad that it will defiantly haunt him for the rest of his days. On the bright side they live to play another day!
