“69,000 Fans showed up to watch the epic battle between two half and half teams. I am sure many one the fans had heard about the Half Pint's last game where they scored a touch down in one turn to take the lead and the victory! Hopefully they would see it again.

Half Pint's started with the ball and jockeyed for position. Finally Sadoc had the ball and worked his way next to Maple Splinter Fist. Maple picked him up and launched him deep into enemy territory, so close to the goal line he could taste the glory of scoring that go ahead goal. Unfortunately the only thing he tasted was the ground because he could land upright.

He fumbled the ball away and Tillman picked it up on the opposing team but he had the length of the field to go, but he had the protection to do it with. He worked his way up to midfield and wiggled a goblin loose for the pass. Unfortunently he just didn't have the arm to do it. He fumbled the ball as the half time whistle blew. They went into the locker room with there head high seeming like they had stopped us on our drive and now they were going to move down the field and score.

The Pints were able to pin the ball deep in field and the goblins had trouble picking it up.. Finally they grabbed it and centered their attack but a few haflings shook free and was able to knock the ball loose on the goal line.

The enemy was able to knock out one of the halfings and then ran in to pick up the ball but it slipped right through his grasp. The ball landed right by Sancho's feet but he had an ugly ogre and a goblin staring him right in the face. He did not get raddled and sucked it up charged in grabbed the ball and ducked and dived his way into the endzone for a Half Pint's touchdown!!

Now One Many aLot spirits were broken with the dice not going thier way. They managed to drive the ball deep but were unable to sustain the drive and the Pint's knocked the ball loose and cleared the way for a heroic handoff and then pass to end the ball right on the goal line and eventually walk it in on the last turn to go up a pair.

Maybe there is magic in those little fingers but with two heart stopping matches it is hard to see when they will eb stopped.

The victory celebration didn't last long as heart ache sank in when reality sunk in. Sadoc, and Filbert had both lost their lives today on the pitch all to give the team the victory! You will live long in our memories!
