#9 Templeton Quick – Dead (RIP)
After their first game, Boys of Dogtown suffered a kill and a niggling injury. Entering their second game of the season, they were nervous about playing with only 10 on the field.

Boys of Dogtown chose to receive the kick, which was followed immediately by a blitz from Krallen Krawall. Shaken, but determined to play on, the Boys badly hurt one of the Krawalls. Not to be outdone, the Krawalls quickly retaliated with a KO and a BH to the Boys. The Krawalls quickly scored during turn four, but not before inflicting another BH and killing a player.

Then things turned nasty. Drunk with their numerous advantage (10 players vs. six) the Krawalls began to implement less than friendly tactics. Turn seven resulted in a BH, a foul and a stalled TD. The Boys, trying to recover this disasterous half, determinedly attempted a blitz with two GFIs, rolled a skull and went down, leaving the Krawalls to score for the second time in the first half - and the last time in this game.

The second half continued to be disastrous for the Boys. A foul in turn two was followed by a foul in turn three, which finally resulted in the Krawall player being ejected from the game.

With only four players left on the field, the Boys decided that enough was enough. Pumping themselves up, they made a miraculous blitz, followed by several stupendous dodges to move the ball over the line of scrimage in preparation for a TD. The Krawall coach, upset by this sudden turn of events, declared that it was pure luck. After several more turns with amazing dodges, and receiving one more BH, only three Boys remained on the field. Blitzing and dodging, the Boys came very close to scoring, but just could not make it. The Krawalls finally were able to throw the ball down field out of the way. In one final attempt at a dodge, the Boys player fell over and ended the game, with a score of 2-0.

Because of the poor sportsmanship in taking advantage of a team already demoralized by rampant injuries, the Boys have vowed never to play a team coached by Henno again.

But the Boys have not given up all hope. Able to hire an additional player to replace the one killed in todays match, followed by the recovery of the player seriously injured in the last game, the Boys once again have a full squad and look forward to playing their next opponent.
