“Sorry to write a report that late (usually I don't write any, unless playing tournament or replying like now), but I was tired yesterday :-)
I was not really mad after the game, I just felt a bit strange. I think I made everything right the way I played, but got a bit nuffled. Okay, after the first blitz I could have moved in first to block the way and prevent deep caging, but I would have gotten a clear shot at the ball and I like to be manouverable after I knock loose the ball.
I think I didn't push the turn button too often. Must be because of failed dodges, gfi or blocks. I would have gladly traded those against the 5 casualties I inflicted.
Still it was a fun game against a very sorry opponent. Thanks for the match, I enjoyed it.”

“Thanks to Sinner, this was a really enjoyable match against a legendary team. He had Nuffle messing with his players all-game-long, so snake-eyes and dobule-skulls were around. He also rolled into 2 straight kick-off blitzes, and that, added, meant he went into turn 5 two TD down.
I dont 1d-blitz the non-blodger thrower with my Lion Warrior, prefering to double-TZ him, and he plays right and scores, while niggling a good lino in a block (apo working). He then gives me the chance to score in 2 turns, but I followed my chain of misplays and failed, even letting Sinner foul my star Lion Warrior into KO. The referee expeled the fouling witch from the game, so we didnt have to revenge on her ;)
In second half, I again play badly (even more than usual) but when it seemed his luck was getting better, he snake-eyes again and I score 3-1. His drive doesnt change much, as he double-1s and i get a shot at the ball. He recovers it and tries to go for the EZ with his rookie lino, but my jump-up Lion jumps for the blitz from across the field and gets him down.
Turn 6 2nd half, and I just have to make a 3+ pass, 3+ catch, 2+ dodge for the score 4-1, but it's my turn to fumble the pass. His thrower recovers the ball, but his teammate cant catch the accurate pass (double1 again). So, again, i need the same pass-catch-dodge, and we all know Nuffle: he gets the perfect 6 for the interception.
After that, mayhem. Three consecutive blocks (without damage modifiers) go MNG for a Lino, KO, and SI: -ST in a Dragon Warrior. For the third time, i recover the ball and try again to pass to the now-free Lino, just to get an incomplete pass again. So, last turn, the ball goes trough the field, he handoffs and just has to GFI once for the TD. But he elects to do some more damage before, and all the 4s, 5s and 6s are in my armour rolls, with 2 stuns and another SI: niggling on my new Phoenix :( Of course, when he tries the GFI he gets the 1 and the would-be-scorer injures himself, with apo working.
All-in-all, a good lesson of how to play elves, how not to roll dice with elves, and how to take bak luck in a sporting, funny way (even if at the end Sinner was a bit annoyed), and we got good winnings (but bad FF rolls... again :( ). I'll try to rebuild a bit before XFL, but that 2 last turns doomed me to be the 1st-round-bye.
Thanks for the game and rematch whenever you want, Sinner! ;)”
