St. Louis Hams came into the game with a solid 2-1-1 record and looked like the imposing Orc team that they were. The Animated Heroines however came into this game looking for redemption after suffering a draw in the previous round. A blizzard smashed down on the field and it looked like it would slow down the action - but soon enough blood splattered onto the crunchy white field making an alluring picture of death and pain.

The Heroines received in the first half and after suffering 5 straight stuns against, they used their (slightly) superior speed to make a break for the endzone...it was a tight play with both the orcs slogging through the snow - going for it heroically and the ball was jarred free near the end of the half...however, Fiona recovered it on T8 and jogged in for the 1-0 halftime lead. It was not painless however, if not for the quick work of the apothecary, Jenna would be dead, even as it was, 2 were in the CAS boxes and another in the KO box when the second half started.

The Heronines were pumped to not repeat their poor play last round and suffer another draw however and blitzed to start the second half, a vicious blow by Pocahontas took out Claude Terror and Fiona grabbed the onsides kick...it did not last long as the ball was free and then in the hands of Marc Bludger - however, a fireball smashed down from the sky and the ball was again on the ground. Fiona used her elf-like agility to pick up the ball in a tackle zone and shuffle a quick pass to Jasmine (a skilled catcher) who broke for the endzone. So early in the second half, the coach called for Jasmine to run some time off the clock - which worked to perfection - the KO box filled up, but other more serious injuries were avoided and a chain push shoved Atta into the endzone on T15 for the 2-0 lead. For the last turn of the game - the orcs showed no mercy bashing with their mighty blow smashing girl after girl to the ground...but that was expected - the girls responded by smashing back and then as the final act of the game, the boot was delivered smashing the ankle of Shaun McMurder (a new blitzer) - but the quick actions of the apothecary saved Shaun - although reporters heard the Hams' coach yelling obscenities as he was escorted off the field...until next time!”
