“After winning their first game 1-0, Missoula began their second game on a rough note, having a minotaur knocked out on a blitz attempt
and then losing another turn to a poor block a few turns later. Kegs, a dwarf team, later scored on turn 4 to take a 1-0 lead early in the
first half. Missoula was able to nurse the Minataur's injuries and he was back for the kickoff. Missoula got an extra reroll to bring
their rerolls to a 2-1 advantage. Missoula received the kickoff deep bottom and set up a 3 man wall of dwarfs, while sending some goblins
to the top of the screen to keep the threat of a pass alive. The diversion worked, and the dwarves sent several players to the top of the
screen. Meanwhile, one of Kegs dwarf runners was badly hurt. The chaos dwarfs doubled back to the top and tried to pass to a goblin
but the pass was incomplete, still the pass moved forward and Missoula was able to move up the ball. Missoula dodged a few Kegs tackler
but eventually lost the ball on a block. On the last turn, Missoula got the ball back, but coughed up the ball trying to dodge
two squares away from the end zone. The first have ended with the Kegs up 1-0, but Missoula showing some momentum.
At the beginning of the second half, Missoula failed to pick up the ball on turn one, but again knocked over several Keg players and also
sent a few goblins to the top of the screen as a diversion. This time Missoula went for the bottom of the screen, but eventually
lost the ball. After some creative tackling, Missoula was able to pick the ball back up on
turn 5. Missoula finally got a td from Plus the Goblin on turn 6 to tie it up 1-1. There was
a pitch invasion after the kickoff, stunning 5 Missoula players and several Kegs players as well. Kegs made a final attempt
to pass it down the field but it was incomplete, the game ended in a 1-1 tie, and Missoula left with a very competively
played game and a record of 1 win, 1 tie and 0 losses.”
