The first half, I won the toss. My 2nd block Si'd a linerat and made Vanenzez my teams first ever Star Player. Still, the first couple of turns were pretty tight, with Lindez man marking me very closely. I managed to keep the ball, an was pretty pleased with my 3rd turn improvised defense. Lindez opened his 3rd turn with a blitz from his Rat Ogre, which went very wrong - Double skull, then KO'd! That gave me a great opening which I was able to take advantage of and Lindez, despite great efforts, just wasn't making them important rolls and I was able to stall til turn 8.
The 2nd half, and Lindez broke through my right wing creating a partial cage, unfortunately his throw into the cage went wring and was recovered by one of the out members of the cage. A lucky 1DB, scatter and catch left me in possession and I was able to expose his now un-manned right wing.
My third TD came from 3 failed completions. First Lindez failed a pass in his own half, Safe? Not against my AG 5 Witch! My Witch did fumble though under the pressure. Lindez the recovered the ball, made an excellent counter attack, but again fumbled the ball. Finally my AG 5 thrower shwo them how it was done, making himself my teams 2nd ever Star Player (and 2nd of the match) with a Long Pass in a gutter runners TZ.
“The Lamb sacrifice the previous day didnt make an ounce of difference in this game. I could moan about luck but hey I am not like that. Kinks played well and exploited the weaknesses within my defending with all the guile and cunning of a true BB coach.
The Rat Ogre has duly been blasted by the team coach and has responded to WarpStone Shock Treatment to give him extra hunger in the next game. The coach not one to single out one bulky individual has also had the other players working hard under the supervision of Grey Seer Thanquol whos other past time includes trying to kill a Human and a Dwarf Slayer. So far it appears to be going well but that could change with the faint smell of musk in the air and the potential for these rats to run run run all the way home.
Thanks for the game Kinks good luck with the team
