After a long break away from Bloodbowl my team trudged onto a rain sodden pitch to face the hordes of Khemri. Despite sacrificing several hundred fans my prayers to Nuffle were ignored. He saw fit to gag the referee in my opponent's favour from the opening kick.

Forgetting just how tough Mummies are I sent my Beastmen on a flanking drive to try and set up for a long pass. This meant my frontline was really weak and within seconds most of my Chaos Warriors had been incapacitated.

Despite starting with the ball some foolish moves on my part soon saw my opponents form a cage and slowly drive towards the endzone. I tried hit and run tactics where I could. Fortunately the funeral procession was stopped but only because the half time whistle blew.

With so many players down I had to resort to desperate measures. I kept clear of the mummies by bravely running away. I tried to use my Beastmen to harry the rear and flanks of the enemy formations but this generally meant my one tiny hit met a massive punch the following turn. I really missed my agile elves this game as almost every dodge or sprint meant the sound of a turnover. Still Nuffle gives and Nuffle takes away.

Fortunatley I only lost by one touchdown this game. It could have been much worse if it weren't for a slippy ball in the last turn.

The only SPPs earnt for me this game was a solitary point for a completion and an MVP award. Poor Epoch Timechanger picked up a concussion from a kick to the head but he will soon be back.

I want to say thanks to my opponent, Smoothy, for a great game. This is the first time I've played using my new laptop and I forgot that i hadn't loaded javabowl and had lost all my custom setups. Smoothy waited very patiently for me to get my act together and get my game up and running properly. He cheered when things went well for me and was gracious enough to admit when things were down to luck.

For Slaneesh!!!!!
